"Encounter Jesus, Encounter Others, Encounter Yourself"
One of the most powerful things that we do at Church Without Limits is run what we call Encounter Weekends. Imagine taking three days where you get away from all distractions and put a 100% focus on your relationship with God. Imagine having in-depth teaching sessions that give you breakthrough revelation on what God has really done for you, how He sees you and the plan that He has for you life. Imagine having amazing times of worship and prayer and personal ministry. Now imagine doing this with a entire group of church family members where you can stand with and encourage each other, all while a team of dedicated and knowledgeable leaders put a complete focus on seeing you receive. Sounds good?
This is an Encounter Weekend at Church Without Limits
We have seen so much change and impact in people's lives from Encounter Weekends - we could fill an entire website with the stories. We hold them for men and for women (we do them separately because we have found them more effective this way, and more convenient for families) several times each year. They run from a Friday night until a Sunday morning and we host them at several different retreat/conference centres spread around Southern Ontario.
Topics covered on the weekend include the power of what Jesus did for us on the cross, overcoming sin, overcoming the hurts and mistakes of our past, God's love for us, walking in freedom and the power of the Holy Spirit. The weekends are facilitated by a team of trained leaders (all who have gone through the weekends themselves) who go "all out" to see that you have the weekend of your life!
To ensure the best weekend possible we ask that all those who attend an Encounter Weekend will take four Pre-Encounter Classes leading up to the weekend that will help prepare your heart for what God wants to do. There is also a Post-Encounter Class that runs for ten weeks after the Encounter Weekend that will help you take what God has done on the weekend and build upon it.
